The changelog feature in Suggested allows you to easily announce new product updates. This completes the final piece of the puzzle.
You collect feedback from customers, implement new product features based on it, then announce to all your users that your product has been updated. It's the virtuous cycle of product development.
To get started with creating a new post, head over the the Changelog tab, and click on the Create post button.
You'll then see this form:
If you toggle the Save as draft option, your post will not be published. You'll be able to view it, but your users will not.
By default the Publish on input field will be set to the current time. However, if you want to publish the post at a time in the future, or backdate it in the past, use this to set a specific time and date.
At the moment you can tag a post to one of three labels, which are:
Click on the Preview link to see how your post will will look like when it's published. We use markdown to format post content. It's a better way to compose posts, and you don't need to know HTML.
When you create a new post, it'll be listed on the Changelog page, like below:
All posts will be listed here, irregardless of whether they have been published or not. From this page you'll be able to edit existing posts, or delete them.
By default all changelog posts are public and viewable from a portal that has the changelog module enabled.
