Vote on behalf of a user

Time to read: 1 mins.

Background

Adding a vote on behalf of a user is useful when you encounter these scenarios:

  • A user asks for a feature request through a channel like email, and you need to note it somewhere, especially when that feature request is already in Suggested
  • When a user asks for a feature request, which does not currently exist within Suggested. You can create the feature request, and add the user as a voter to it
  • The user who asks for a feature request has an account on Suggested, if not you can create an account on their behalf
